A derelict building has gone under construction to become an art school, which will have a capacity of 400 people. Construction is due to wrap by the end of 2021.
The building height was limited, thus engineers solved this problem by choosing DELTABEAM®. Eleven DELTABEAM® Composite Beams were used for this project which was an effective solution.
According to Julius Zareckas, the head of the company Capital Constructor - "Using beams in this project gave more floor area for a given building footprint. Concrete reinforced slab changes into DELTABEAM® beams and slim floor structure. This solution for the building process is more efficient and cost-effective. We can assure the fire class high rating without additional protections".
