Highest polyfunctional buildings Panorama towers, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Near the Danube river, in the heart of new city centre, Panorama city, two towers rise to 112 metres. With 33 floors and triangular floor plan, they are a master piece designed by of one of the worlds famous architects Ricardo Bofill based in Barcelona. Panorama towers are highest residential buildings in Slovakia so far. Twin buildings combine administration, trade, services, hotel and housing, and thus represent a full-fledged multifunctional complex. They provide a lucrative place to live and representative spaces for business.

The main task of structural engineers was to lower the slabs height. A solution was found in our portfolio with PSB® product in total amount more than 52,000 (62 tons).

As our sales manager mentioned, both towers were built simultaneously, so that the slabs on the same floor of both towers were produced in just one week. The next week they produced even more slabs on both towers. The system was reworked so that the workers on both towers knew exactly what to do on daily basis. Of course, they also managed the concreting of the columns in this way.
